Dymock is a village in the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire, England about four miles south of Ledbury, with a population of approx. 300 people. It was the eponymous home of the Dymock poets from the period 1911-1914. The homes of Robert Frost and Wilfrid Wilson Gibson can still be seen there. Dymock is renowned for its wild daffodils in the spring, and these were probably the inspiration for the line \"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood\" in Frost\'s poem The Road Not Taken, which was a gentle satire on his great friend, and fellow Dymock Poet, Edward Thomas.Dymock is the origin of the Dymock Red, a cider apple, and Stinking Bishop cheese.
Newent is home to the Devonia, a large house dating back to the Georgian period.
Ruardean Hill is a village in the English county of Gloucestershire, 20 km (12 miles) west of Gloucester.
Drybrook is also known as a royal hunting ground, where the so-called legend of the black panther and the white deer roamed. Unfortunately, the white deer was killed after being hit down and then trophy hunters cut off its head, but the police have not caught the person responsible. Drybrook also had a good supply of coal and stone. As Drybrook grew, so did its boundary, and it grew to include a small village called Harrow Hill (or as most locals call it, Harry Hill). The village's first modern church, The Holy Trinity Church, was built on Harrow Hill in 1817. The church's location is on the way to Mitcheldean.
Degree ceremonies of the University of Gloucestershire take place at the cathedral.[9]
