Humber Bridge

Plans for a bridge were originally drawn up in the 1930s, and were revised in 1955, but work did not begin until 26 July 1972. The Humber Bridge Act, promoted by Kingston Upon Hull Corporation, was passed in 1959. This established the Humber Bridge Board in order to manage and raise funds to build the bridge and buy the land required for the approach roads.

Cottingham Castle

Some patients have internet access by their beds, but this must be paid for. No keyboards are available, so access is rudimentary.

Forest Pines Hotel West Stand

The Boulevard (stadium)

The Boulevard is a multi-purpose stadium in Hull, England. The venue was saved from demolition and reopened on 25 October 2007 as the home of greyhound racing in the city. It can also be used as a community stadium hosting amateur rugby league matches.[1]

Boothferry Park

In later years financial constraints forced Hull City to allow Kwik Save and Iceland supermarkets to embed themselves into part of the stadium's structure. Parts of the ground were finally demolished in early 2008, more than five years after the last game was played there, though other parts remain due to the existence of the supermarkets.
